Formula

  • totalCups = guests × cupsPerGuest
  • batchesNeeded = ceil(totalCups ÷ cupsPerBatch)
  • extraCups = batchesNeeded × cupsPerBatch − totalCups

Example

For 30 guests at 1.5 cups each, you need 45 cups of coffee.
